How does booking with ShiftRide work?

ShiftRide is an on-demand mobility platform, where you can get access to cars nearby. When you need a car, even to run a quick errand, simply book one through messenger and you’re good to go. During your trip, we provide insurance, roadside assistance, and support. When your booking is over, simply return the car to the same parking location and message us. Each car has an estimated hourly price depending on the car's make and model. You pay for the portion you use the car, based on time and distance driven.


Can someone else drive when I book with ShiftRide?

ShiftRide only allows members who are signed up with ShiftRide and varified as a driver to drive. This means that if you'd like to have someone else be able to drive the car as well, they have to be a ShiftRide member who is eligible to use ShiftRide. Please note, if anything goes wrong during the booking, the person who made the booking will be held responsible


How much does it cost?

All cars come with an estimated fee which can range between $10-$20 per hour. You get charged at the end of your trip, based on how long you were out with the car and how far you drove. This fee also includes insurance, gas, roadside assistance, and support for each booking, so that you can drive comfortably and safely.


How does insurance work?

ShiftRide provides insurance on top of every booking for its members. From the start time of the trip to the end time of the trip, drivers who meet our eligibility requirements are covered via our insurance policy. If there are accidents, damages, or theft, we charge fees for the deductible ($1000) from your account.
